BCFORDS - 1967 Shelby GT 500, Super-Snake
This GT500 is what we used to call a "sleeper", which is a car that looks stock but unleashes furious performance when provoked. That was the owner's goal in building this Shelby, and I can say it certainly delivers! The build was accomplished between 1998 and 2001. 1970 Boss 429 #KK2523
BOSS 429 - KK2523 MCA Gold Concours Trailered
For sale, we have the rarest and one of the most coveted of all Mustangs, a 1970 Boss 429 in Calypso Coral with a black interior (see 7 slides below). This private listing is Serial # KK2523 and has gone through an extensive no expense spared restoration. Ed Meyer, the noted and well-respected Boss 429 specialist, was consulted during the restoration which was completed in July of 2013. This is a proven and well-known car. KK2523 recently was an MCA Gold winner in the Concours Trailered Class. In addition, this Boss was used as a tech car by the aforementioned Ed Meyer to showcase a proper restoration at the International Mustang Show in Bozeman Montana in September of 2013. It is safe to say they don't come much better than this Boss.
KK2523's odometer shows only 38,235 miles and comes with a complete ownership history from the day it left the factory. This Boss also comes with its original sales invoice, original Kar Kraft invoice, and an original Ford invoice as well. The original vin stamped engine was rebuilt by Aldridge Motorsports, while all front supspension and power steering components were restored by DSD Restorations. Both the transmission and the 3:91 rear-end are orginal to the car. The orginal wheels were restored by Tru Design, the orgina seat belts restored by Python Restorations, while the original instrument panel and clock panels were restored by Tachman. The rear bumper is NOS while the front bumper is original and has been rechromed. The car has all-new OEM wiring, the original brake booster and master cylinder were rebuilt by Ram Man, and the entire exhaust was supplied by Scott Fuller. The car also the correct and original space saver tire.
